First licensed in 1973 (or so) as WN7LBM. That Novice license expired while I was stationed in the Philippine jungle.
After returning to The World I took another Novice test in 1978 giving me the call KA7CMJ.
I upgraded to Technician
class as N7BCV
in mid 1979.
(Real Technician class, taking the General test from the FCC in Seattle.)
With FCC restructuring, I upgraded to General on April 15, 2000, keeping the same call sign.
